Taste. Intense initial impression of chocolate-covered coconut. Rich roasted malt flavors of coffee and bittersweet cocoa are prominent. Moderate bitterness is present but largely masked by the high residual sweetness and 30 BLG density. Flavors of dark fruit, molasses, and toasted nuts lead to a long, sweet, and velvety finish.
Mouthfeel. Full to very full-bodied with a chewy, viscous, and coating texture. Carbonation is low to moderate. Noticeable but smooth alcohol warmth provides a pleasant glow without being sharp or solventy.
