This Hazy IPA offers a saturated, tropical escape. Brewed with Glacier hops and dry-hopped with Talus and Ahhhroma, the sensory profile is dominated by a lush pina colada character. Expect intense aromas of shredded coconut and ripe pineapple melding with vibrant lime zest. The appearance is a glowing, opaque straw gold topped by a resilient, meringue-like white head. On the palate, the hop-forward profile continues with layers of tropical fruit and subtle cedar from the Talus, supported by a neutral, bready malt base. It finishes smooth and soft, with a restrained bitterness that highlights the juicy, fruit-heavy intent of this modern New England style.
Appearance. Deep straw to light gold (4-6 SRM). Opaque clarity with a characteristic hazy shine. Supports a medium-sized, rocky, white head with high retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma featuring coconut, lime zest, and pineapple. Secondary notes of mango and passionfruit are prominent. Malt character is low and clean, displaying grainy and slightly bready notes. Fermentation esters are neutral and supportive.
Taste. High fruity hop flavors mirroring the aroma with pina colada, lime, and tropical fruit. Malt flavor is low and neutral, providing a bready foundation. Bitterness is moderate but perceived as low-to-medium due to the soft body. The finish is off-dry and smooth with a lingering, juicy fruit aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy mouthfeel. Carbonation is moderate. No hop harshness or astringency. Alcohol presence provides a very subtle, well-integrated warmth.
