This Hazy Double India Pale Ale presents an intense tropical profile defined by the synergistic blend of Sabro, Vista, and Vic Secret hops. It delivers a potent sensory experience where the creamy, coconut-driven character of Sabro meets the sharp pineapple and passion fruit notes of Vic Secret, all underpinned by the soft white peach and melon aromatics of Vista. Despite its 8% ABV strength, the palate remains remarkably smooth and velvety, emphasizing a lush juice-like quality over harsh bitterness. The finish is long and fruit-forward, leaving a lingering impression of exotic citrus and stone fruit against a pillowy, soft malt backdrop.
Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (5–7 SRM). Opaque, heavy haze with a thick, persistent, creamy white head that leaves dense lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of coconut, ripe pineapple, and passion fruit. Secondary layers of honeydew melon, peach, and a hint of cedar are present. Malt is low and neutral, providing a light doughy foundation behind the saturated tropical hop character.
Taste. Initial impression is an explosion of tropical fruit, dominated by coconut and sweet pineapple. Malt flavor is supportive and bready but takes a backseat to the hops. Moderate bitterness provides balance without being sharp or resinous. The finish is smooth and medium-dry, characterized by lingering notes of stone fruit and tropical esters.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full, creamy body with a soft, pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate. Noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth that enhances the 'juicy' perception without being solventy. No hop-derived astringency.
