This monumental freeze-distilled creation delivers a profound sensory experience, concentrating the essence of an Imperial Stout into a viscous, velvet-like elixir. The aroma is dominated by rich maple syrup and the unmistakable character of Garrison Brothers bourbon barrels, offering layers of charred oak, vanilla, and spicy caramel. On the palate, the intensity of the maple is layered over deep chocolate and dark fruit notes typical of a concentrated Eisbock. Despite the staggering 20% ABV, the warmth is incredibly well-integrated, providing a luxurious, glowing finish that lingers with notes of decadent syrup and toasted wood.
Appearance. Opaque, deep ebony with rich ruby highlights at the edges (SRM 40+); head is minimal to non-existent, leaving thick, oily legs on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity; dominated by grade-A maple syrup, bourbon-soaked oak, and vanilla; secondary notes of dark chocolate, espresso, and dehydrated plums with a smooth, spirit-like alcohol presence and no hop aroma.
