This Micro American IPA presents a vibrant, hop-forward profile despite its sessionable 3.5% ABV. The heavy dry-hopping with HBC 630 Cryo, Azacca, Citra, and Mosaic creates a complex bouquet of tropical passionfruit, juicy mango, and bright grapefruit, underscored by a distinct berry and stone fruit sweetness from the HBC 630 Cryo. While the malt presence is intentionally restrained to a clean, grainy whisper, it provides just enough structure to support the intense hop saturation. A refreshing and aromatic experience, it finishes crisp and dry, delivering the full sensory punch of a larger IPA in a lighter, more approachable frame.
Appearance. Medium gold color (approx. 6 SRM) with slight haze and a persistent, medium-sized white head that leaves consistent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of tropical mango, pineapple, and citrus grapefruit. Distinctive berry and stone fruit notes from the HBC 630 Cryo are evident, supported by a low, clean, grainy malt character and neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. High hop flavor of tropical fruit, zesty lime, and subtle blueberry. Bitterness is firm and clean, providing a sharp balance to the low, cracker-like malt flavors. The finish is dry and crisp with a lingering, resinous hop aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, light texture. Carbonation is medium-high, and there is no perceived alcohol warmth or astringency.
