Funky Fluid

Hypnotize is a bold, uncompromising American IPA that prioritizes a sharp, refreshing bitterness. A bright aromatic profile leads with intense citrus and tropical pineapple, driven by a heavy-handed addition of Citra and the Falconer's Flight blend. Beneath the fruit, Simcoe provides a rugged, resinous spruce and pine backbone that anchors the sensory experience. The palate is decidedly dry and lean, allowing the hops to dominate over a minimal, clean grainy malt base. This beer delivers a classic West Coast intensity, finishing crisp with a lingering, resinous hop punch that invites another sip.

Appearance. Deep gold to light amber (7-10 SRM). Clear to brilliant clarity with a medium-sized, persistent white head and fine lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of grapefruit, lime zest, and pineapple. A secondary layer of resinous spruce and forest floor emerges, supported by a low, clean, neutral grainy maltiness and a very clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial impression is a wave of hop-derived citrus and tropical fruit. Medium-high to high bitterness follows immediately, providing a firm, clean structure. Flavors of pine needles and orange peel persist over a light, bready malt background. Finishes very dry and crisp with a long, bitter, resinous aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily hop texture. Moderate to high carbonation provides a crisp, refreshing bite. A very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present at the finish.
