Despite the 7.2% ABV, the focus remains on the interplay between the fruit’s natural character and a strong, clean sourness. Appearance. Opaque and vivid magenta to deep pink hue. Small, light pink head with poor retention and minimal lacing, which is common in high-acid, heavily fruited beers.
Aroma. High intensity aromatics of sharp, tropical passionfruit and hints of earthy dragonfruit. Clean lactic acidity is prominent, with very low underlying pale malt and a faint, fruity wild ester profile.
Taste. Intensely sour and fruit-dominant initial impression. Dominant tart passionfruit flavors give way to the more delicate, slightly floral and melon-like flavor of dragonfruit. Negligible hop bitterness. The finish is sharp and lingering with a refreshing acidic bite and a clean, tropical fruit aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a thick, almost smoothie-like texture from high fruit solids. Moderate carbonation. Significant acidity causes a mouth-watering sensation with a slight, fruit-derived astringency.
