Paranoid is an intensely aromatic Double IPA that bridges the gap between classic resinous bite and modern tropical juice. Pouring with a characteristic hazy glow, it unleashes a multi-layered bouquet of overripe mango, bright citrus zest, and a grounding thread of piney resin. On the palate, the 7.9% alcohol is masterfully integrated, providing a smooth, warming foundation for waves of stone fruit and grapefruit oil. A soft, creamy mouthfeel balances a firm but polished bitterness, while the clean malt presence allows the hop-forward character to resonate through a lingering, lush finish. It is a bold, modern expression of the style.

Appearance. Deep gold (7-9 SRM) with a thick, persistent white head that leaves dense lacing. The clarity is markedly hazy, typical of a modern juicier interpretation.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical fruits like mango and passionfruit, alongside bright citrus notes of orange peel and a subtle, resinous pine undertone. Supportive, clean, grainy malt notes sit in the background with light fruity esters.

Taste. A strong, complex hop profile follows the aroma with flavors of grapefruit, pineapple, and resin. Low to medium supportive bready malt character. Bitterness is firm but smooth, lacking any harshness. The finish is medium-dry with a long, lingering hoppy and citrusy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a silky, creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate. A smooth, restrained alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated, with no hop-derived astringency.
