This Hazy IPA offers a vibrant sensory journey, defined by an expressive blend of Nectaron, Citra, and Superdelic hops. The aroma leads with a burst of tropical juice, featuring intense notes of overripe pineapple and passionfruit anchored by a citrus-forward brightness. On the palate, the experience is lush and fruit-driven, weaving together layers of nectarine, lime zest, and a unique red-berry sweetness. Despite its soft, pillowy texture, a focused bitterness provides structure, cutting through the bready, wheaty malt base. It finishes clean with a lingering suggestion of tropical candy and citrus oil, epitomizing the modern, hop-saturated profile.
Appearance. Presents a deep straw to light orange hue (4-6 SRM) with a high degree of opacity and a characteristic hazy shine. It is topped by a thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and beautiful lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by stone fruit, passionfruit, and bright citrus. Clean, bready, and lightly grainy malt sits in the background, complemented by supportive fruity fermentation esters. No caramel, toast, or grassy notes are present.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor showcasing mango, lime, and peach. The malt flavor is low but provides a bready, neutral foundation. Perceived bitterness is moderate, providing a cleaner edge than many in the style, leading to an off-dry, soft finish with a lingering tropical aftertaste that lacks harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, smooth texture. Carbonation is moderate. It possesses a gentle alcohol warmth without being hot, and is entirely free of astringency or raw starchiness.
