The fruit last year was picked later in the season, which made it an impressively sweet, ripe, and juicy crop.””The beer’s color is also a bit darker than previous vintages, partially due to the increased fruiting rate, but largely because of the deep crimson color of the fruit. To complement these exceptional raspberries and build the complex flavor profile that’s become a signature of previous Frampaars releases, we choose a three barrel blend of 18-30 month-old spontaneous beer and let it condition in the bottle for seven months.”
