This American Pale Ale presents a robust sensory profile, leaning into its higher gravity with a sturdy 6% ABV. A foundation of lightly toasted malts and wheat provides a biscuity, slightly creamy base that supports an assertive hop bouquet. The use of Chinook hops delivers punchy pine and resinous notes, while Centennial contributes bright floral and citrus aromatics. Willamette rounds out the profile with subtle earthy and spicy nuances. On the palate, the balance shifts toward a firm bitterness that cuts through the toasted malt sweetness, leading to a clean, medium-dry finish where lingering citrus and resinous hop character remain the focus.

Appearance. Deep gold to light amber in color, approximately 8 SRM. It features a moderately large, off-white head with excellent retention and fine lacing, characterized by good clarity despite the inclusion of wheat.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of resinous pine and grapefruit from Chinook, layered with lemon and floral scents from Centennial. A subtle earthy spice from Willamette is present. The malt supports with moderate aromas of toasted bread and a hint of biscuit. Fermentation is clean with very low fruity esters.

Taste. The initial impression is hop-forward, showcasing citrus peel and floral flavors followed by a distinct piney resin. A supportive malt backbone provides flavors of toasted grain and bread, balanced by a moderate-high bitterness consistent with the style's upper range. The finish is medium-dry and clean, with a lingering, non-harsh hop bitterness and toasted malt aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture derived from the wheat. Carbonation is moderate-high, providing a crisp bite. There is a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth that is appropriate for its 6% strength, with no detectable astringency.
