Moa is a vibrant New Zealand Pilsner that showcases a clean, modern lager profile enhanced by the signature hops of the Southern Hemisphere. This collaboration highlights the distinct sensory impact of Nelson Sauvin and Motueka, delivering a sophisticated bouquet of crushed gooseberry, white wine grapes, and zesty lime. The aromatic intensity is matched by a refreshing palate where bready, crackery malts provide a sturdy foundation for tropical notes of passionfruit and lemon peel. It finishes dry and smooth, with a firm yet refined bitterness that ensures high drinkability while maintaining a focus on the unique, fruit-forward character of the featured New Zealand hops.

Appearance. Straw to pale yellow-gold (3-4 SRM). Brilliantly clear with a dense, creamy, long-lasting white head that leaves persistent lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of gooseberry, white wine, and elderflower from Nelson Sauvin, alongside bright lime and mojito-like citrus from Motueka. Supported by a medium-low bready and crackery malt sweetness. Clean fermentation with no esters or DMS.

Taste. Leading with a clean, grainy-sweet malt flavor, the profile is quickly dominated by medium-high hop flavors of lime zest, tropical melon, and gooseberry. Bitterness is medium-high and assertive but remains smooth and cleanly integrated. The finish is dry to off-dry, leaving a lingering, pleasant citrus and grassy hop character in the aftertaste.
