NEIPA - New England IPA 6.8 º
Ghosts is a luminous Hazy IPA that captures an intense tropical perfume through a sophisticated dry-hopping regimen. The triple-threat combination of Citra, Sabro, and Galaxy hops drives a multi-dimensional sensory profile defined by ripe passionfruit, tangerine, and a distinct, creamy coconut note. A pillowy malt base offers a soft, bready foundation that supports the massive fruit expression without introducing competing caramel tones. The palate is remarkably smooth and juicy, showcasing stone fruit and pineapple flavors with very low perceived bitterness. It finishes with a clean, lingering tropical nectar quality and a well-integrated, subtle warmth from its 6.8% ABV.
Appearance. Straw to light orange with a luminous, opaque haze. Features a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma featuring dominant passionfruit, pineapple, and tangerine. Subtle undertones of cream and coconut are present. Low, clean, bready malt in the background with fruity fermentation esters.
Taste. High fruity hop flavors reflecting the aroma with peach, citrus, and coconut. Low, grainy malt flavor. Bitterness is low to medium-low and exceptionally smooth, never sharp. Finishes off-dry and juicy with a clean, fruity aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full, pillowy body with a soft, smooth texture. Moderate carbonation. Very light alcohol warmth with no hop harshness or astringency.
