This vibrant Hazy IPA delivers an intense burst of fresh-squeezed citrus and luscious tropical fruit. Massive additions of Citra and Amarillo hops unleash powerful sensory cues of ripe mango, sweet mandarin orange, and zesty grapefruit. The innovative yeast strain drives a supportive background of soft stone fruit esters, seamlessly blending with a delicate, bready malt foundation. Smooth and beautifully balanced, it flows over the palate with a lush, velvety softness, leaving a juicy, low-bitterness impression that remains exceptionally refreshing and clean.
Appearance. Pours a glowing, opaque pale gold to light orange with a beautiful hazy shine. It is topped by a thick, rocky, meringue-like white head that exhibits excellent retention and leaves dense, clingy lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma bursting with ripe mango, passion fruit, sweet tangerine, and pink grapefruit. A clean, subtle, bready and lightly doughy malt character supports the hops. Fermentation esters are moderately fruity, presenting hints of peach and apricot that complement the Citra and Amarillo profile.
Taste. Opens with a massive wave of juicy tropical fruit and bright citrus flavors. Citra and Amarillo dominate, offering notes of nectarine, orange zest, and sweet melon. Malt is low but present as a soft, cracker-like backbone. Perceived bitterness is low to moderate, well-masked by an off-dry, smooth, and fruit-forward finish that avoids any hop burn.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a remarkably soft, plush, and pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate, contributing to the smooth mouthfeel. Alcohol warmth is very light and well-integrated at 6.8% ABV, lacking any harshness, graininess, or astringency.
