This Double IPA radiates with an intense spectrum of New World hop character, delivering a vibrant sensory impression. The profile is led by high-intensity notes of ripe tropical fruit, zesty citrus, and a clean resinous pine that cuts through the 8% alcohol strength. Built upon a lean, neutral malt base, the beer maintains high drinkability with a crisp, dry finish. It avoids the heavy caramel weight of a barleywine, instead focusing on a firm, lingering bitterness that balances the lush hop esters. The clean fermentation allows the complex hop oils to remain the primary focus of this potent Berlin-crafted ale.

Appearance. Gold to light orange-copper (SRM 7-11) with good clarity and a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head that leaves significant lacing.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma featuring prominent citrus, tropical fruit, and resinous pine. Supportive, neutral grainy maltiness sits in the background with a clean, low-ester fermentation profile and a hint of smooth alcohol.

Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors of grapefruit and mango with a moderately high bitterness that is firm but not harsh. Features a low, clean, soft malt character and a dry finish. The aftertaste is long, lingering with hoppy bitterness.
