Skydancer is a vibrant Hazy IPA that showcases an intense aromatic profile driven by a heavy double dry-hopping of Citra and Galaxy. The sensory experience is led by waves of passionfruit, ripe peach, and zesty lime, supported by a soft, pillowy malt base of grainy sweetness. A signature haze provides a luminous, golden glow in the glass. On the palate, the Galaxy hops impart a lush tropical complexity, while the Citra contributes a bright citrus snap. This modern ale finishes with a gentle, restrained bitterness and a smooth, rounded mouthfeel that emphasizes juice-like fruit saturation over a sharp hop bite.
Appearance. SRM 4-6. Opaque, glowing golden-straw with a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head showing excellent retention and intricate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity aromatics featuring massive tropical fruit notes of mango and passionfruit alongside bright citrus zest and peach. Low, clean, bready malt background with no caramel or toast; fermentation character is clean and supportive.
Taste. High to very high fruity hop flavor dominated by pineapple, passionfruit, and citrus. Low, neutral grainy malt flavor. Perceived bitterness is low to medium, balanced by a soft, off-dry finish that avoids harshness. Aftertaste lingers with juicy fruit character.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, smooth texture. Moderate carbonation provides a gentle lift. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present without any astringency or raw starchiness.
