Exploding Rainbows is a vibrant Hazy IPA that serves as a masterclass in Mosaic hop expression. By combining traditional T-90 pellets with Mosaic Cryo Hops, Fuerst Wiacek achieves an exceptionally pure and high-intensity aromatic profile. The nose is a saturated burst of tropical mango, ripe blueberry, and zesty tangerine, supported by a soft, bready malt base. On the palate, the fruit intensity remains dominant, offering a juicy sensation with restrained bitterness. The deliberate use of Mosaic throughout the whirlpool and dry-hopping stages creates layers of stone fruit and subtle citrus, finishing with a smooth, velvety mouthfeel that invites another sip.
Appearance. Straw to deep gold (4–6 SRM) with a heavy, opaque haze and a luminous, glowing quality. Pours with a dense, white, meringue-like head that shows excellent retention and leaves thick lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward bouquet dominated by Mosaic. Pronounced notes of blueberry, ripe mango, and passionfruit are complemented by tangerine zest and a faint, clean herbal note. Low, bready malt provides a neutral foundation, while fermentation esters add a soft peach-like layer.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor featuring guava and papaya, followed by the signature blueberry and citrus notes of Mosaic. Malt flavor is low and cracker-like. Bitterness is medium-low, providing just enough structure to balance the soft, fruit-heavy profile. The finish is off-dry and incredibly smooth with no hop harshness or astringency.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full, pillowy body with a soft, silky texture. Carbonation is moderate, enhancing the creamy feel. There is a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth and a notable absence of any harshness.
