Computer Rage (2024) is a vibrant Session India Pale Ale that balances a lean malt profile with an expressive hop trio. The addition of Citra provides bright grapefruit and tropical notes, while Idaho 7 introduces layers of resinous pine and stone fruit. Motueka finishes the sensory profile with a distinct and refreshing lime zest character. Despite its sessionable 4.8% ABV, the beer maintains the punchy bitterness and aromatic intensity expected of an American IPA. It pours with a soft golden glow and offers a crisp, dry finish, making it a highly drinkable yet complex showcase of modern hop varieties.

Appearance. Medium gold (6 SRM); medium-sized, white head with good persistence and light lacing; slightly hazy to hazy.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent lime, grapefruit, and mango; low grainy maltiness supports the hops; clean fermentation profile with very light tropical esters.

Taste. Initial impression of citrus and tropical fruit; low crackery malt flavor; hop flavors of lime, pineapple, and pine dominate; medium-high bitterness (contextual to its session strength); dry finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth texture; medium-high carbonation; no perceived alcohol warmth; very low astringency.
