This formidable Triple IPA delivers a saturated sensory experience centered on its intense dry-hop profile featuring Cashmere, Mosaic, and El Dorado. The aroma is a dense bouquet of ripe melon, mango, and mixed berries, underpinned by subtle herbal and lemon-lime notes from the Cashmere. A clean, crackery malt base provides just enough support for the punchy tropical flavors of Mosaic and the sweet candy-like stone fruit of El Dorado to shine. Despite the significant 9.5% ABV, the finish is remarkably dry and crisp, leaving a lingering, resinous bitterness that invites another sip while offering a smooth, warming glow.
Appearance.Light gold to deep orange (7-10 SRM). Pours with a persistent, dense, white head and excellent lacing. Good clarity, though a slight haze is present due to heavy dry-hopping.
Aroma.High intensity. Dominated by tropical fruit (pineapple, mango), stone fruit (peach), and melon. Distinctive notes of berry and citrus zest. Secondary aromas include a light crackery, neutral malt sweetness. Fermentation is clean with very low fruity esters and a soft, non-solventy alcohol presence.
Taste.Initial wave of tropical fruit and candied orange followed by a firm, clean bitterness. Malt flavor is low, primarily grainy and unobtrusive. The finish is medium-dry to dry, emphasizing a persistent hop-forward aftertaste of resin and citrus peel. Complexity is high, showing layers of fruit and bitterness without being harsh.
Mouthfeel.Medium-full body with a smooth, velvety texture. Moderate carbonation. Noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth that enhances the mouthfeel without becoming hot. No harsh hop-derived astringency.
