This Triple Mash Imperial Stout presents a decadent sensory experience, merging intense roast with tropical and confectionery layers. The heavy, triple-mash base provides a foundation of deep dark chocolate and espresso, amplified by the earthy, fudgy notes of Ghana cacao nibs. Ugandan vanilla lends a rich, creamy aromatic sweetness that rounds out the roast, while the addition of Hawaiian coconut contributes a toasted, fatty richness. At 12% ABV, it carries a sophisticated warmth that integrates seamlessly with the viscous malt profile. It is a harmonious, complex blend of charred grain, exotic fruitiness, and dessert-like luxury.

Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque. It pours with a dense, deep tan head that shows moderate retention, leaving thick, oily legs on the glass indicative of its high gravity and coconut content.

Aroma. High intensity with a rich blend of bittersweet chocolate, heavy espresso, and toasted grain. The Hawaiian coconut provides a prominent toasted tropical note, complemented by the creamy, floral sweetness of Ugandan vanilla and the earthy cocoa of Ghana cacao nibs. Low esters of dried plum and fig are present alongside a smooth, well-integrated alcohol presence.

Taste. Initial impression is intensely rich and sweet, followed by a complex mix of burnt malt, fudge-like chocolate, and molasses. The Ghana cacao adds a distinctive bittersweet depth, while the Ugandan vanilla and Hawaiian coconut provide a luscious, dessert-like middle. Moderate hop bitterness and roasted grain provide balance against the heavy triple-mash sweetness. The finish is long and lingering with notes of dark chocolate and warming alcohol.

Mouthfeel. Full to very full-bodied with a chewy, viscous, and velvety texture. Carbonation is low to moderate, enhancing the luscious mouthfeel. A smooth, gentle alcohol warmth is noticeable but lacks any harshness or solvent qualities.
