King Louis is a bright and approachable Blonde Ale designed for sessionability and celebration. It opens with a clean, light grainy malt profile featuring subtle hints of toasted bread and honey. To honor its Dutch roots, a distinct citrus character emerges, evoking fresh orange zest and sweet tangerine that brightens the sensory experience. The hop presence remains restrained, providing a soft floral background that complements the fruit-forward nature of the brew. Refreshing and well-balanced, it offers a medium-dry finish that invites another sip, perfectly capturing a vibrant, sun-drenched personality through its harmonious blend of simple malts and zesty fruit notes.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (5-6 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a medium-sized white head that shows good retention and light lacing.

Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring a light grainy-sweet malt character with faint honey notes. A prominent orange citrus aroma is present, supported by low floral hop notes and a very clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial soft malt sweetness with flavors of white bread and cracker. Moderate fruity esters and a distinct orange peel flavor dominate the mid-palate. Low floral hop flavor with a medium-low bitterness that ensures a balanced, malt-leaning profile. The finish is medium-dry and clean with a lingering citrus aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with moderate to high carbonation. Very smooth mouthfeel with no alcohol warmth or astringency, enhancing its refreshing quality.
