Frontaal – I’ve Got Friends In the Music Business B.A. 2025: This 2025 edition of Frontaal’s annual barrel-aged Mexican Imperial Stout builds on a rich base of roasted malts and deep chocolate character. Additions of cacao and vanilla provide further intensity and a creamy sweetness, while Aji Mirasol, Aji Panca, and Guajillo peppers contribute layered warmth with earthy, smoky, mildly fruity, and gently spicy notes. Maturation in Bourbon and Whiskey barrels enhances the stout’s complexity: Bourbon contributes caramel, toasted oak, and vanilla, while Whiskey imparts subtle spice and a drier oak profile. The result is a concentrated, full-bodied stout with integrated heat, structured roast, and a smooth, persistent finish.
