This refreshing American IPA delivers an expressive tropical bouquet driven by a calculated addition of Idaho-7, Simcoe, El Dorado, and Azacca hops. Bright aromas of ripe mango and succulent peach from the El Dorado and Azacca lead the sensory experience, while the Idaho-7 and Simcoe contribute nuanced layers of melon and a faint resinous undertone. Despite its approachable alcohol content, the beer maintains a classic hop-forward profile supported by a clean, lean malt backbone. It finishes crisp and dry with a lingering, pleasant bitterness, making it an exceptionally bright and sessionable take on the style.
Appearance. Medium gold (6-7 SRM) with a very light haze. Pours with a medium-sized, white, persistent head that leaves fine lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of mango, peach, and melon. Low, clean, grainy maltiness provides a neutral backdrop. Fermentation profile is clean with no significant yeast esters.
Taste. High hop flavor echoing the aroma's tropical mango and stone fruit notes. Low grainy-sweet malt character allows the hops to remain the focus. Bitterness is medium-high and firm, leading to a dry finish and a crisp, hoppy aftertaste without harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Carbonation is medium-high. No alcohol warmth or astringency present.
