An elevated, bold interpretation of the traditional German Gose, this bottle-fermented strong ale presents a striking sensory profile. Complex aromas of jammy fig juice fuse with the bright, citrusy punch of crushed coriander and a distinct mineral tang of sea salt. It pours an alluring hazy, deep golden-amber. On the palate, a gentle lactobacillic sourness beautifully slices through the rich, dark fruit sweetness, balanced by a mouthwatering salinity and a subtle, warming alcohol presence that expands the mouthfeel. It is a masterful, deeply expressive fusion of savory, tart, and sun-ripened fruit elements.

Appearance. Deeper than a standard version, pouring a hazy, deep golden to amber-orange color (approximately 8-12 SRM) with a moderate, off-white head. It shows good initial retention and effervescent bubbles, leaving a light lacing.

Aroma. High intensity. Prominent sweet, jammy, and caramelized dark fruit notes from the fig juice layer over a soft, bready, and doughy wheat malt backbone. This is complemented by a bright, lemony coriander spice, a clean lactic sourness, and a refreshing, mineral-rich sea salt breeze. Hop aroma is completely absent.

Taste. Begins with a compelling contrast of lactic acidity and jammy, dried-fig sweetness. A soft, bready wheat malt base supports flavors of dark plum and fig, met quickly by a savory wave of sea salt and a citrusy, herbal coriander note. Hop bitterness is extremely low; the finish is dry and crisp, balanced by refreshing acidity and a lingering, mouthwatering salinity.

Mouthfeel. Medium to medium-full body, possessing a rounder, thicker, and more substantial texture than typical for the style due to the elevated strength and addition of fig juice. High carbonation provides an effervescent, tingly prickle on the tongue, accompanied by a light, clean alcohol warmth and a mouthwatering finish.
