The sensory profile is dominated by the luxurious presence of Congo vanilla bean, offering a creamy, floral sweetness that softens the intense roast. Bourbon barrel aged Burundi coffee introduces sophisticated notes of dark berry and toasted nut, while the wood integration provides whispers of oak and charred marshmallow. Despite its formidable 12% strength, the beer maintains a harmonious balance between bittersweet cocoa and rich, espresso-like depth, finishing with a lingering, velvet warmth and remarkable viscosity.
Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque. Pours with a thick, dense, dark brown head that shows moderate retention. High viscosity is evident through heavy, oily legs that coat the glass upon swirling.
Aroma. High intensity with a rich, complex interplay of dark chocolate and heavily roasted Burundi coffee. Prominent Congo vanilla notes offer a sweet, floral contrast to the deep oak and bourbon spirit character. Subtle dark fruit esters of raisin and plum are present in the background.

Mouthfeel. Very full-bodied and chewy with a velvety, luscious texture. Carbonation is low to moderate, enhancing the beer's creamy weight. A significant but smooth alcohol warmth is present, devoid of any harsh solvent notes.
