Swift Driftin presents as a modern Double IPA that emphasizes the vibrant, high-impact aromatics of New Zealand’s Riwaka and Nectaron hops. The sensory experience begins with an explosion of tropical stone fruits, specifically ripe nectarine and peach, which transition into pungent passionfruit and a signature pink grapefruit zest. FrauGruber’s execution ensures a clean, neutral malt base that serves as a canvas for these intense hop oils without cloying sweetness. Expect a powerful but smoothly integrated bitterness that defines the style, finishing with a lingering resinous complexity and a soft, citrusy brightness.

Appearance. Golden to light orange-copper with moderate haze. Features a persistent, dense off-white head with excellent lacing (SRM 7-9).

Aroma. High-intensity hop-forward bouquet dominated by stone fruit (peach, nectarine) from Nectaron and pungent tropical notes (passionfruit, grapefruit) from Riwaka. Low, clean, grainy malt in the background with a light, floral alcohol note.

Taste. High-intensity hop flavors of tropical fruit and resinous pine. Initial nectarine sweetness gives way to a firm, clean bitterness. Malt is supportive and neutral. The finish is dry and crisp with a lingering grapefruit pith aftertaste.
