This formidable Double IPA showcases the intensity of hand-selected Citra BBC, Mosaic BBC, and Idaho7 hops. A vibrant, layered sensory experience unfolds with saturated notes of zesty grapefruit and sweet mango from the Citra, while Mosaic adds a complex depth of blueberries and earthy pine. The Idaho7 provides a distinct resinous backbone with hints of pineapple and black tea. Despite its robust 10.1% ABV, the beer maintains a lean malt profile, allowing the massive hop oils to dominate. A firm, clean bitterness balances the luscious tropical fruit character, leading into a dry, warming finish that emphasizes the masterful selection of modern hop varieties.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (SRM 7-9). Features a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head with excellent lacing. Displays a slight, modern haze consistent with heavy dry-hopping, though still retaining a luminous quality.

Aroma. Intense and pungent hop bouquet dominated by tropical fruit (mango, passion fruit), citrus zest, and resinous pine. Pronounced stone fruit and berry notes from the Mosaic are complemented by the herbal, dank nuances of Idaho7. Clean, neutral grainy malt in the background with a soft, smooth alcohol presence.

Taste. High hop flavor intensity featuring layers of crushed pineapple, tangerine, and pine resin. A firm, assertive bitterness provides structure without being harsh or astringent. Low, supportive crackery malt character is quickly overtaken by a very dry, hop-saturated finish. Lingering aftertaste of citrus peel and floral hops. A light, clean alcohol flavor is evident.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate to medium-high. A noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, appropriate for its high strength, without any harsh hop-derived astringency.
