Flames in a Box presents a modern Hazy IPA profile defined by the vibrant interplay of Strata and Riwaka hops. This expressive combination yields an intense aromatic bouquet of passion fruit, fresh strawberry, and a signature hit of pink grapefruit. The sensory experience is led by a saturated tropical fruit character, supported by a gentle, bready malt foundation. A soft, pillowy texture enhances the juicy perception, while the bitterness remains restrained and integrated. The finish is clean yet lingering, showcasing the complexity of its New Zealand and American hop profile with a subtle, resinous dankness that balances the fruit-forward intensity.

Appearance. Deep straw to light orange (5 SRM) with a luminous, opaque haze. Features a thick, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and significant lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma featuring prominent pink grapefruit and citrus from the Riwaka, complemented by Strata’s notes of passion fruit and a slight tropical dankness. Lightly bready, grainy malt provides a neutral background.

Taste. High fruity hop flavor, echoing the aroma with layers of mango, grapefruit, and berry. Low to medium-low bitterness that is well-masked by a soft malt backbone. The finish is off-dry and smooth, lacking any harsh hop burn or astringency.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a silky, soft texture. Carbonation is moderate, enhancing the creamy mouthfeel. Very light alcohol warmth is well-integrated and subtle.
