FrauGruber’s Bright Colors is a vibrant Double IPA that showcases an explosive hop profile through the precision of BBC-enhanced pellets. The sensory journey is led by Mosaic, delivering a complex tapestry of ripe blueberries and tropical mango, while Citra adds layers of bright grapefruit zest and zesty lime. A foundational touch of Chinook contributes a classic American resinous pine and subtle spice, grounding the fruit-forward intensity. This beer pours with an enticing glow, supported by a lean malt backbone that allows the hops to remain the primary focus. It finishes crisp and assertive, balancing high-ABV warmth with a punchy, clean bitterness.
Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper with a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head that leaves sticky lacing. Modern versions may show a slight, uniform haze.
Aroma. Intense hop aroma featuring grapefruit, mango, and blueberry notes alongside a distinct resinous pine character. Supportive neutral, grainy malt in the background with light, clean alcohol and faint fermentation esters.
