FrauGruber’s Black Veil is a decadent Imperial Stout that showcases a masterful integration of rich adjuncts within a massive malt framework. At 10.2% ABV, the sensory experience is dominated by the potent, aromatic punch of freshly roasted coffee and the buttery, praline-like sweetness of toasted hazelnut. These primary cues are layered over a complex base of dark chocolate and molasses. Appearance. Opaque, jet black (SRM 40+) with a thick, creamy, mocha-colored head that exhibits excellent retention and dense lacing.
