FrauGruber Brewing

This Hazy IPA presents a vibrant tropical profile driven by the expressive trio of Strata, Galaxy, and Nectaron hops. An assertive aroma of ripe pineapple and nectarine leads, underpinned by complex layers of passion fruit and a subtle dankness. The palate is saturated with juicy stone fruit and citrus flavors, supported by a soft, bready malt foundation. Its characteristic opacity and smooth, pillowy texture enhance the fruit-forward experience, while a restrained bitterness ensures a balanced, refreshing finish. Expertly crafted for drinkability, it exemplifies the modern style with intense hop saturation and a clean, fruity fermentation character.

Appearance. Color is light orange (5 SRM) with a deep, uniform haze and an opaque quality that adds a vibrant sheen. Topped by a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring notes of passion fruit, pineapple, and mango from the Galaxy and Nectaron, complemented by a light resinous and strawberry character from the Strata. Malt is secondary, appearing as clean, grainy, and lightly bready.

Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with dominant nectarine, citrus, and tropical punch qualities. Low to medium-high perceived bitterness that is soft rather than sharp. The malt provides a neutral, bready base that carries the hops into a smooth, off-dry finish with lingering fruit esters.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture and a smooth mouthfeel. Carbonation is moderate. No astringency or harshness is present, and there is a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
