Fox Friday Craft Brewery

This American IPA presents a sophisticated hop profile, blending New World vibrancy with Noble elegance. A crisp base of Pale and Bohemian Pilsner malts provides a clean, grainy canvas for the complex hop layering. Bright citrus and tropical notes from Citra and Nelson Sauvin collide with the resinous pine of Simcoe, while Saaz and Tettnang contribute delicate floral and spicy nuances. Fermented with W34/70 for an exceptionally clean finish, the beer balances firm bitterness with a dry, refreshing snap. Gooseberry and white wine accents from the Nelson Sauvin linger pleasantly against a backdrop of lean malt, defining a modern, highly approachable take on the style.

Appearance. Brilliant, deep gold (7 SRM) with exceptional clarity. Features a medium-sized, long-lasting white head with dense bubbles and excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma with layers of grapefruit, passionfruit, and crushed gooseberry. Supportive notes of resinous pine and a distinct floral, spicy herbal quality follow. Malt character is low and clean, reminiscent of fresh crackers or raw grain. Extremely clean fermentation profile with no yeast-derived esters.

Taste. Initial hop-forward punch of citrus peel and tropical fruit, transitioning into piney resin and a spicy, herbal mid-palate. Low, grainy malt sweetness provides a lean, supportive structure. Bitterness is firm and clean, providing a crisp counterpoint to the hop oils. Finishes very dry and refreshing with a lingering note of white grape and floral hops.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, snappy texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively prickle on the tongue. No detectable alcohol warmth or hop astringency.
