This modern German Pils balances Old World structure with a bold New World hop profile. Built on a base of Pilsner and Pale malts, it pours a brilliant straw color with a persistent, creamy white head. The aroma is highly expressive, featuring stone fruit and orchard notes from Rakau and Pacifica, layered with resinous pine from Simcoe and bright, concentrated citrus from Cryo Citra. Traditional Spalt Select provides a noble, spicy grounding to the bouquet. On the palate, a firm, clean bitterness leads into a crisp, dry finish. It retains the refreshing, light-bodied character of a classic lager while showcasing vibrant, contemporary hop complexity.
Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (3 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a dense, creamy, long-lasting white head that leaves significant lacing.
Aroma. High hop intensity featuring citrus zest, apricot, and subtle pine resin. Low grainy, doughy malt character with a light toasted cracker note. Clean fermentation profile with a very subtle spicy, herbal undertone.
Taste. Initial malt flavors of white bread and grain are quickly overcome by an assertive hop bitterness. Flavors of tropical fruit and citrus follow the aroma, supported by a clean, flinty minerality. The finish is very dry and crisp with a lingering, pleasant hop bitterness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high carbonation. Crisp and refreshing on the tongue with no harshness or astringency; very light alcohol warmth may be present.
