This Double IPA presents a saturated hop profile driven by an expansive blend of Citra, Citra Cryo, Vista, Ekuanot, Sabro, and Galaxy. The aroma is an intense rush of passionfruit, ripe melon, and a distinctive coconut-cream whisper, supported by a soft, cereal-forward base of Golden Promise and Lager Light malts. Rolled Oats and Wheat Malt create a lush, velvety texture that carries the high bitterness with ease. While Carahell provides a touch of honeyed sweetness, the finish remains remarkably clean, allowing the complex stone fruit and tropical hop oils to linger alongside a refined alcohol warmth.
Appearance. Deep gold to pale orange (7 SRM) with a slight, persistent haze. Features a thick, creamy white head with excellent lacing and retention.
Aroma. High intensity hop aromatics featuring mango, passionfruit, and bright lime zest. Nuances of tangerine, peach, and a subtle coconut-mint character. Very low grainy-sweet malt background with a neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. A powerful citrus and tropical fruit attack leads the palate. The mid-palate reveals stone fruit and a spicy, pithy depth. Bitterness is firm but rounded and never harsh. The malt profile is soft and bready with a hint of honey. Dries out significantly in the finish with a resinous, lingering hop aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a silky, creamy texture from the high adjunct content. Moderate carbonation. A smooth, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present without being solventy.
