This American IPA showcases a vibrant sensory profile driven by a strategic blend of American and New World hops. Built on a clean, lean base of Crisp pale malts, the beer is highly attenuated to ensure a crisp, refreshing delivery. A firm bitterness from Bravo hops anchors the experience, while late additions of Citra, Eclipse, and Chinook explode with layers of fresh mandarin, zesty lime, and pungent forest pine. The result is a bright, hop-forward journey that balances intense citrus brightness with deep resinous notes, finishing decidedly dry and clean on the palate.
Appearance. Bright, medium gold color with excellent clarity. Pours with a medium-sized, persistent white head that leaves delicate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of sweet mandarin, grapefruit, and lime. These fruity tones are complemented by a distinct resinous, woody pine character. A low, clean, grainy malt presence provides a neutral backdrop with no significant esters.
Taste. Assertive hop flavor leading with citrus zest and transitioning into a resinous, herbal pine mid-palate. Bitterness is firm and clean, supported by a light, crackery maltiness. High attenuation ensures a very dry, crisp finish with a lingering, hoppy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Carbonation is medium-high, which enhances the dry finish. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
