Fort George Brewery Glitching Prisms
NEIPA - New England IPA 7.2 º
Glitching Prisms is a luminous Hazy IPA that refracts intense hop character through a complex grain bill. The use of Nelson and Nelson Goo delivers signature white grape and crushed gooseberry notes, while Simcoe Cryo and Cascade project a spectrum of bright citrus, lime, and subtle pine. A heavy inclusion of Linc Oat malt, Spelt, and Crisp Torrified Wheat creates a soft, pillowy cushion for the Juice yeast esters to thrive. The result is a fruit-forward experience where tropical magic meets a smooth, low-bitterness finish, offering a vibrant sensory profile of grapefruit, passionfruit, and sweet bready malt.
Appearance. Straw to deep gold (4-6 SRM) with a characteristic opaque haze and a healthy shine. Features a persistent, rocky, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring notes of white wine, gooseberry, passionfruit, and bright grapefruit. The malt presents a light, bready, and grainy-sweet background from the oat and spelt, supported by peachy yeast esters.
Taste. Massively fruit-forward with flavors of zesty citrus, tropical melon, and white grape. Low to moderate bitterness is well-masked by a soft, bready malt mid-palate. The finish is off-dry and smooth with a lingering, juicy citrus and tropical fruit aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full, pillowy body with a smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is medium. Displays a gentle, well-integrated alcohol warmth without any harshness or astringency.
