On the palate, a massive depth of vanilla emerges from the use of Tahiti, Congo, Ecuador, and Vanuatu beans, intertwining with the oak and spirit notes of Weller, Bakers, and Rockfilter barrels. Appearance. Jet black and opaque (40+ SRM). Pours with a thick, deep tan head that shows moderate to low retention, leaving heavy, oily legs on the glass as the liquid recedes.
Aroma. High intensity with a rich blend of roasted malt, charred chicory, and bittersweet chocolate. The complex vanilla character is prominent, offering floral and spicy notes alongside toasted marshmallow and a dark fruit ester profile reminiscent of cherry and plum. Bourbon-soaked oak provides a background of caramel and light spice.
Taste. Intense and multi-layered; initial impressions of milk chocolate and espresso give way to deep layers of vanilla bean and spiced chocolate-covered cherry truffles.
