Appearance. Medium gold (approx 7 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a medium-sized, persistent white head that leaves delicate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by citrus grapefruit and resinous pine. Secondary notes of tropical fruit and a light floral spice. Low grainy-sweet maltiness is detectable, providing a clean backdrop. Fermentation is neutral with no notable esters.
Taste. Initial impression is a sharp, clean hop bitterness. Intense hop flavors feature grapefruit zest, pine needles, and a hint of earthy spice. The malt is low but present, offering a light toasted-grain character. Bitterness is firm and assertive. The finish is decidedly dry and crisp, with a lingering hoppy and bitter aftertaste that remains clean.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Medium-high carbonation enhances the refreshing quality. Very low, smooth alcohol warmth is well-integrated. No astringency.
