Experimental Jet Set is a potent Double IPA from Foam Brewers that balances high-gravity intensity with remarkable drinkability. The sensory experience is led by an explosive hop profile of lush tropical fruit and soft resin, evoking notes of mango and pine. A unique, clean malt presence provides a subtle nutty undertone, offering complexity without the heavy caramel weight often found in stronger ales. Despite its 9.2% ABV, the alcohol is expertly integrated, appearing as a gentle, smooth warmth rather than a sharp presence. The finish is notably dry and crisp, emphasizing hop saturation and a firm but clean bitterness.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper with a slight modern haze. Topped by a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma featuring prominent tropical fruit, papaya, and mango, supported by a soft resinous character. A light, clean maltiness is detectable in the background with a faint, unusual nutty sweetness and no solventy alcohol.

Taste. Initial burst of tropical fruit and stone fruit flavors followed by a moderate-to-high hop bitterness that remains smooth and lacks harshness. The malt character is unobtrusive but supports the hops with a distinct nutty flavor. Finishes medium-dry to dry with a lingering hoppy and resinous aftertaste.
