The result is a highly drinkable, dry lager that balances the airy expectations of its style with genuine malt quality and subtle hop nuance.
Appearance. Very pale straw (2 SRM). Brilliant clarity. Sparse white, frothy head with moderate to low persistence and minimal lacing.
Aroma. Low intensity. Subtle notes of sweet, grainy malt derived from Canadian pale malt. Very light herbal and spicy hop aroma from the Saaz additions. Clean fermentation profile with no significant esters or diacetyl.
Taste. Neutral and crisp initial impression. Low grainy malt flavor leads to a very clean, dry finish. The hop flavor is low but discernible, featuring a characteristic Saaz lemony brush and mild herbal spice. Bitterness is very low, providing just enough balance to prevent cloying sweetness.
