Flying Fish Onshore Lager is a refined, all-malt interpretation of the American Light Lager, intentionally avoiding adjuncts to deliver a cleaner grain foundation. The aroma features subtle notes of grainy malt balanced by the delicate floral and spicy character of German-style hops. Appearance. Pale yellow to light golden in color (3 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a white, frothy head that shows moderate to low persistence.
Aroma. Low intensity with a clean, grainy-sweet malt character. Notable absence of corn-like adjunct notes. Features a light, delicate floral and spicy German-style hop aroma. Extremely clean fermentation profile with no detectable esters.
Taste. Initial impression is neutral and highly crisp. Very low grainy malt flavor leads quickly into a dry, clean finish. Hop bitterness is low but provides essential balance to the light malt. Subtle herbal and floral hop flavors are present but restrained. The aftertaste is short, clean, and refreshing.
