Теперь Пьер и Филип Лефевры представители 4 и 5 поколения династии взяли на себя ответственность за доброе имя пивоварни. В сложной конкурентной борьбе Lefebvre выходит на международный рынок. С 1983 года к делам компании были допущены представители женской половины семейства Лефевров. Floreffe Dubbel is a “light”, brown abbey ale with a deep colour with red reflections, chocolate, coffee and liquorice aromas and a touch of aniseed and white fruit notes. The first sip is full-flavoured, with a hint of acidity which heightens the roasted notes provided by the special malts. Malted flavours are prominent on the palate. The finish is particularly long, mainly acidic with a hint of sourness and a faint bitter aftertaste. Elle subit une refermentation en bouteille. L'Abbaye norbertine de Floreffe se situe près de la ville de Namur. Elle a été fondée en 1121 et la production brassicole a débuté au 14ème siècle. Comme beaucoup d'abbayes, elle a été détruite à cause des Révolutions qui se sont déroulées au fil des siècles. L'Abbaye est ensuite devenue un séminaire et une école. Il existe la bière de l'abbaye de Floreffe. Elle est brassée par la brasserie Lefèbvre à Quénast dans le Brabant Wallon.
