Floem

This Hazy IPA radiates with a vibrant, juice-forward profile driven by a complex hop blend. Nelson Sauvin provides signature white grape and crushed gooseberry notes, while Motueka infuses the glass with bright, fresh tropical lime and tangerine citrus. The addition of Sabro introduces a subtle, creamy coconut undertone that complements a stone fruit-heavy core. A grist including Pale Ale malt, Oats, and Wheat creates a soft, hazy foundation, allowing the LA III yeast to leave a clean, slightly fruity impression. It balances a gentle malt sweetness with a refined, approachable bitterness for a refreshing, tropical summer character.

Appearance. Straw to light gold (4-6 SRM) with a distinct, opaque haze that creates a luminous glow. Pours with a thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and beautiful lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring layers of tropical mango, sweet tangerine, and fresh lime zest. Distinctive crushed white grape and very subtle coconut notes are present. Background malt is clean and bready with a light grainy wheat character. Esters are supportive, leaning towards stone fruit.

Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with waves of passion fruit, peach, and citrus. The vinous character of the hops is prominent, balanced by a hint of coconut creaminess. Low to moderate bitterness provides structure without being sharp. Malt flavor is low to medium, showing as light bread and cereal. The finish is off-dry and smooth.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy, and smooth texture. Carbonation is moderate. Alcohol warmth is light and well-integrated. No astringency or harshness.
