This Double IPA is a vibrant sensory collaboration, bursting with a multifaceted hop profile from Sabro, Motueka, Talus, Lemondrop, Loral, and Cryo Pop. The London Ale 3 yeast enhances the tropical fruit esters, creating a lush aromatic canopy of coconut, lime, and pink grapefruit. On the palate, the hop intensity is high, balancing bright citrus and floral rose notes against a clean, supportive malt backbone. The finish is assertive but smooth, featuring a firm bitterness and a touch of well-integrated alcohol warmth that highlights its 8.5% strength without being heavy or cloying. It is a modern, complex take on the style.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (7–9 SRM) with a luminous, slight haze. Features a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma with a complex blend of coconut, pineapple, and lime. Secondary notes of pink grapefruit and rose petals from Talus and Loral hops are present. Malt is low and neutral, providing a clean crackery background with moderate fruity esters from the fermentation.

Taste. Initial impression is an explosion of tropical fruit, followed by distinct lime and lemon zest. The hop flavor is strong and complex, supported by a low, soft malt character. Bitterness is high but smooth, finishing medium-dry with a lingering resinous and floral aftertaste. Complexity is high due to the varied hop blend.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, velvety texture. Carbonation is moderate. A noticeable but well-restrained alcohol warmth is present, without any harsh hop-derived astringency.
