Floem IMPOSTER is a playful subversion of the traditional American Stout, delivering the robust sensory hallmarks of the style within a golden, deceptive frame. This collaboration with Dutch Bargain leads with an indulgent aroma of white chocolate and creamy vanilla, layered over a surprising foundation of toasted grains. Despite its pale appearance, the palate carries the characteristic weight and assertive bitterness expected of the style, balanced by a lush, velvety mouthfeel. The finish is clean yet lingering, where the sweetness of the white chocolate meets a resinous hop bite, creating a complex, full-bodied experience that challenges visual expectations with classic stout soul.

Appearance. Deep gold to light amber (SRM 5-8); large, persistent, creamy white head with excellent lacing; slight haze typical of adjunct-heavy specialty stouts.

Aroma. High intensity; dominant white chocolate and cocoa butter aromas with strong secondary notes of vanilla and sweet cream. Moderate citrus and resinous hop character; low esters. No roasted or burnt notes despite the style classification.

Taste. Initial impression of creamy white chocolate and sweet vanilla; moderate-high bitterness (approx. 50-60 IBU) provides a firm counterpoint to the adjunct sweetness. Medium-low citrusy hop flavor. Finishes medium-dry and clean with a lingering cocoa butter and resinous hop aftertaste.
