Floem AFTERSUN is a bold Double IPA that delivers a sensory explosion, showcasing a sophisticated dry-hop blend of Nelson Sauvin, Strata, Idaho 7, and Sabro. The aroma is intensely tropical, led by Nelson Sauvin’s white grape and Strata’s passion fruit, underscored by the coconut and cream of Sabro. Fermented with London Ale 3 yeast, the beer presents a velvety, rounded mouthfeel that supports a surge of stone fruit and citrus from the Idaho 7. Despite its fruit-forward character, a firm bitterness provides a clean, structural balance, ensuring the 8% ABV remains dangerously drinkable. It is a true modern powerhouse of flavor and texture.
Appearance. Gold to light orange-copper (7-10 SRM). Persistent, off-white head with good lacing. Hazy clarity due to heavy dry-hopping.
Aroma. High intensity. Prominent hop character featuring tropical fruit, white grape, passion fruit, and light coconut. Clean, neutral malt background. Light fruity esters from the London Ale 3 yeast.
Taste. Initial burst of tropical hop flavors. Soft, clean malt profile. High but smooth hop bitterness. Balanced toward hops. Medium-dry finish with a lingering, complex hoppy aftertaste of citrus and stone fruit.
