Appearance. Straw to pale gold (2–3 SRM), brilliant clarity, with a dense, creamy, long-lasting white head that leaves significant lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity featuring prominent herbal, spicy, and flowery noble hop notes. Low grainy-sweet malt character suggests toasted cracker and a hint of honey. Clean fermentation profile with no esters or diacetyl.
Taste. Initial light malt sweetness characterized by doughy and crackery flavors is quickly overtaken by firm hop bitterness. Hop flavors are floral and spicy, echoing the Tettnanger and Hallertau Mittelfrüh profile. Highly attenuated with a crisp, dry finish and a lingering, clean bitterness.
