This vibrant American IPA presents an intense aromatic bouquet driven by a sophisticated double dry-hopping regimen. The use of Peacharine hops delivers a distinctive, lush juicy peach character that defines the core of the sensory experience. Motueka adds bright layers of fresh lime and citrus zest, while Kohia Nelson contributes complex notes of passionfruit and tropical berries. Beneath the expressive fruit profile, a clean, grainy malt backbone provides necessary structure without distracting from the hop intensity. It finishes crisp and decidedly bitter, balancing the succulent stone fruit sweetness with a refreshing, resinous snap typical of the style.
Appearance. Deep gold (8 SRM) with a slight hop haze. Features a medium-sized, persistent white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by ripe peach and nectarine. Secondary notes of lime zest, passionfruit, and a hint of white grape. Malt is low and crackery, supporting a very clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward with succulent peach and citrus flavors. Mid-palate reveals a firm, clean bitterness that balances the low, grainy malt sweetness. The finish is dry and crisp, leaving a lingering aftertaste of tropical fruit and resinous hop oils.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a refreshing snap. Alcohol warmth is very light and well-integrated at 6.5% ABV.
