Floc

Passage by Floc. is a quintessential Hazy IPA that showcases a vibrant, tropical-forward sensory profile through the heavy use of Galaxy and Mosaic hops. The pour reveals a radiant, opaque straw-yellow hue with a persistent, meringue-like white head. Intense aromas of passionfruit and peach from the Galaxy hops mingle with the signature blueberry and dank citrus notes of Mosaic. The palate is defined by a soft, pillowy mouthfeel that carries juicy flavors of mango and tangerine over a neutral, lightly bready malt base. It concludes with a smooth, off-dry finish and a restrained bitterness that emphasizes fruit depth over sharp edges.

Appearance. Straw to light amber (3-5 SRM). Opaque haze with a healthy shine; no visible yeast clumps or hop particulates. Medium to rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and beautiful lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring tropical fruit (passionfruit, mango), stone fruit (peach), and citrus (tangerine). Mosaic adds subtle blueberry and pine notes. Background malt is neutral, grainy, and lightly bready. No caramel or toast. Clean fermentation with supportive fruity esters.

Taste. High to very high fruity hop flavor mimicking the aroma with layers of pineapple and berry. Low bready malt flavor provides a foundation. Perceived bitterness is low to medium, balanced by a full body. The finish is off-dry and smooth, lacking any harsh hop burn or astringency in the aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, smooth, and pillowy texture. Medium carbonation. Light, well-integrated alcohol warmth. No acidic twang or raw starchiness.
