This Double IPA is a vibrant showcase of Southern Hemisphere hops, delivering an intense sensory experience driven by Nectaron, Motueka, and NZ Cascade. The aroma is a concentrated blast of tropical fruit and juicy stone fruit, complemented by bright citrus zest and a hint of lime. On the palate, the bold fruit flavors are supported by a clean, neutral malt backbone that allows the massive hop character to shine. Despite its strength, the beer remains impressively smooth with a firm bitterness that leads into a crisp, dry finish. It is a modern, aromatic powerhouse that balances high-intensity hops with exceptional drinkability.

Appearance. Gold to light orange (7 SRM). Moderate-sized, persistent white head with excellent lacing and fine-beaded bubbles. Slight haze present, consistent with modern heavily dry-hopped versions.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward profile featuring stone fruit (peach, apricot) from Nectaron, distinct lime and mojito notes from Motueka, and grapefruit zest from NZ Cascade. Background notes of pineapple and passionfruit. Malt is low and neutral, providing light grainy support. Clean fermentation with a subtle, well-integrated alcohol presence.

Taste. High-intensity hop flavors mirroring the aroma: juicy peach, tropical melon, and zesty citrus. The bitterness is firm and moderately high but lacks harshness, feeling smooth and rounded. Malt flavor is low, primarily clean cracker and pale grain. The finish is dry and crisp, with a long, lingering resinous and fruity aftertaste. Alcohol is clean and supportive rather than hot.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, velvety texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a refreshing lift to the palate. A gentle, restrained alcohol warmth is present but never solventy or sharp. Low astringency.
